ASK Forum Rules
1. You must have an active ASK account to post on our forums.
Your forum account will not be fully activated until you confirm both your email and mobile number that will be linked to the account you listed during registration. If you are suspended or banned you will not be able to post.

2. Ensure that your new topics are in the correct forum.

We will try to keep an eye on where everything is going and will add or remove forums if the need arises. (Suggestions are welcome.). However please keep topics relevant in the correct areas. Advertising your gun for sale in the "game suggestion" section will result in the topic being deleted.

3. Signatures are permitted, but must follow these guidelines:
Signature images are allowed. Text is also permitted but must follow the forum rules regarding content. Please try to limit the size in order to keep the forum running smooth. Advertising or selling is not permitted in signature files.

4. Be respectful of others at all times.
The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.

5. Ranting is prohibited.
A rant is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.

6. Personal attacks are prohibited.
Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts which are designed to personally berate or insult another. Text of this nature is not beneficial to the community spirit and will not be tolerated. Teams, Team Members and other players are cautioned to avoid allowing an on field dispute to continue on the forums. Threats will not be tolerated.

7. Trolling is prohibited.
Trolling is the word used to describe a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the members of the community. Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not convey a friendly attitude. These posts will be deleted by the staff and a warning will result. For others, if you come across a troll, please do not feed it!

8. No posting of personal information.
Please respect the privacy of other KFL players and do not post information such as home addresses and where you work. This is a public forum, however private information will be restricted to admin's only.

9. Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following:
The posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.

10. Spamming and bumping are prohibited.
Spam (while delicious with scrambled eggs) is considered to be repetitive posting of the same text again and again or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. Bumping posts in order to keep them near the top of the list is also prohibited. Posts of this nature are not conducive to community spirit and are unwelcome.

11. Redundant threads.
As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please search to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly, and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only. Take the time to search, as many times the info can be found more quickly than waiting on a reply.

12. "Newbie" bashing will not be tolerated!
New forum members are encouraged to use all boards to ask questions, since the site was designed around providing a platform for those who are new to the KFL community to ask questions and learn more about the game. Regular forum users are encouraged to be helpful and courteous in their responses. All flames will be automatically deleted and the poster may be warned or permanently barred from future forum use. The answers to many new players' questions may be found in the FAQ and we encourage our players to seek information there before posing questions on the boards.

13. You may post advertisements or announcements to sell your personal gear only.
Advertisements are not allowed except in the Marketplace Section. Businesses may not post advertisements at all.

14. Do no use profanity.
This forum prides itself in maintaining a mature area for discussion. Profanity is not needed or desired.

15. Post constructively.
Negative feedback can be very useful, provided that it is presented in a civil, factual manner. Tell us what you don't like and why and how you feel it could be improved. Posts that are insulting and rude will be locked or deleted.

16. Avoid unnecessary nested quotes.
Any more than two (2) quotes nested in a post are excessive. (If you want a topic history, scroll up)

17. User/moderator disputes may be arbitrated by forum administrators.
The moderators are here to make everyone's visit more enjoyable and to be helpful, so if you experience any problems with abusive users, please tell a moderator. Treat others as you expect to be treated. Do not argue with the enforcement of these guidelines. If a Moderator or Admin tells you to comply with one of these rules, do so. If you argue, you'll be warned. Keep it up, and you'll be banned for an undisclosed amount of time and very likely, permanently. For questions, you may PM one of the moderators in a polite and civilized manner. To discuss any other problems or concerns, please PM a Site Admin.

18. Avoid excessive use of emoticons and the CAPS LOCK key.
Typing in capital letters on the Internet denotes shouting and moreover can be annoying to read for forum users. Shouting is not necessary to make a reasonable point. Excessive emoticons only serve to clutter up the forums, while not offering additional useful information.

19. Search first.
Many questions you may have will have already been answered. The forums have a search feature to help you find what you need. This is also true of other Airsoft sites as well as using a search engine like Google where a wealth of knowledge exists for many of the products currently available. Helping yourself will allow you to learn much more quickly and completely rather than having information spoon-fed to you. In addition, you'll likely get your answers more quickly than depending on someone to reply.

20. KFL does not condone or support "renegade" airsoft.
"Renegade" play is when someone starts playing airsoft where they should not be. KFL supports and encourages only safe and legal airsoft play. That means that if you play airsoft, you must do so on accepted fields already in use in Korea. KFL exists to provide safe fields for you to play at with other safe players per KFL rules. Do not ruin the sport for yourself and others by playing in unsafe, unsecured areas. Therefore, no discussion, advertising, or promoting of renegade locations will be permitted on the forums.

21. The Staff has the Final Say.
The KFL staff has the final say on all matters. We reserve the right to edit or delete posts for violating the above rules. We also reserve the right to suspend or ban users for violations of the above rules. The KFL staff is made up of mature individuals assigned to help users, but not to be flamed or insulted. Treat KFL staff the way you expect to be treated. KFL staff decisions are not to be argued.
